Adding some limitations to the Optimizer is a good idea. We can do this in some of the upcoming releases.

I just wanted to ask, if it is possible to add a function to the optimizer tool where
you can type in the max. accepted drawdown.
At the moment the optimizer tool optimize for max. end balance only,
but the results often include large drawdowns.
With a an option for max. accepted drawdown you can
optimize for a smoother equity curve, which is in my opinion,
nearly as important as high profits.
Is it possible to add this functionalty?
