Ok thanks for the confirmation. The user experience does seem a little confusing with this feature, as I think the expectation would be to have it only use N bars starting from the start date, which would be the same experience as using N bars back from the end date.

The program applies "--data-start" and "--data-end" limits.

Then it cuts to "--max-data-bars"

I think I've narrowed it down to the number of bars declared in max_data_bars...

Setting it at 300 (expecting it to work forward 300 bars), and it seems to be working back from the last date in the data file 300 bars.

Setting it at 3000 (which if the above is true puts the whole data range available before the start date), then it seems to use the correct start date.

Hi Mr Popov,
Got a new bug - which I think has been recently introduced as I believe it used to work.

Data Start flag does not start the generator at the particular date.

use_data_start = true
data_start     = 01 Jun 2022 00:00 GMT

use_data_end   = false
data_end       = 01 Jun 2022 00:00 GMT

The Data End feature works as expected though.
