The settings that are not shown in the Reactor are taken from the tool pages.

on Reactor there under Walk Forward validation i can set the segments oos and valid segments than there is written "This tool uses settings from Walk Forward" . The same on Monte Carlo.

When i now go to Walk Forward than i have other settings than i have switched before. What did the Walk Forward now use. The settings from Reactor or the settings from Walk Forward in the options? The same Monte Carlo.
