To trade the strategy download and use FST.

Actually this strategy is so simple that it doesn't need FST. You know the entry level in advance. You can simple set a pending entry order or two OCO orders in case of possible entries in both directions. Remember to remove the entry orders if they have not been activated or use the option "valid till the end of the day".

If a position was open, you have to close it manually at midnight or to use FST to close it for you.

I would like additional information about this trading strategy. I am new to this forum and found this post about your EURUSD 1 Day Fractal. Please send me any details that you may have on this strategy.

Hi just go first post. The strategy is very simple - open position at the up Fractal and close at the end of day.
To test the strategy download and use FSB.
To trade the strategy download and use FST.

The same direction signal - does Nothing
The opposite direction signal - does Nothing

Fractal
     Open long at Fractal Up
     Is it visible  -  Yes

[Closing point of the position]
Bar Closing
     The market exit is at the end of the bar
     Base price  -  Close

I can try to explain why it does so.
It seams that EURUSD market (as the biggest one) has some inertia. If the market reaches a previous pick (fractal) it has a tendency for eventual going through for a little while and closing over.

It works on a high time scale as D1 and only for EURUSD. It also seams that the moment of the break through and the position closing are important. That's why the time zone matters.

This strategy gives a surprisingly steady performance for its life time, but it is not suitable for short time experiments. Probably for long time period it can beat the stock dividends, but for sure there will be years with no profit.

Do you think that this is a root cause of different results?
