I agree with you...having more conditions is not a issue of curve fitting.  It's totally a different issue. 

For people without a sound theoretical trading formula in mind, more conditions would mean more curve fitting...trying to figure out what works without understanding why, an issue of trial, error and chance.

But if you have a trading theory or formula in mind, more conditions allows you to "control" the conditions whereby you can reduce side way trending and enter with greater accuracy and exit with greater accuracy too.

I use a number of different time frame and in each time chart, I need to set some conditions for each time period and hence need more than 8 conditions.

I need more than 8 logical conditions definitely but also I respect your opinion even I do not agreed with it.

The decision of Popov to give the user the opportunity to increase the number of 8 by changing a parameter inside Config is Great. It is not against your style of trade but it he will not do it then it will be against of mine. This is not fair.

The problem has to do only with time, money and trader's opinion.

A good software should take in account every case of trader and any "philosophy".

3 MORE ADVANTAGES to increase the number of 8 to 100

1> We can lock some conditions and leave FSB to select the others. Time to Try Things is a trader's problem.

2> We do not need to write one more advisor if we need more Logical groups. I think the number should be even 100 !!!

3> We do not need to write a new indicator to have inside 4 or five conditions. This has nothing to do with hyper fitting.

The only thing is the size of code. But normally it should not be large if we use same indicator many times.

We can do everything. It is only matter of time and price.

Popov, how about the previous request for the ability to use all the opening conditions and closing conditions in both the group A and group B? (under the dynamic closing discussion thread?).  Are you able to combine them together?
