Introduction

Forex Strategy Builder (FSB) is a visual back tester, generator and optimizer of forex trading strategies. The program is totally free to use and distribute.

  • the graphic interface allows quick and easy access to all indicators, conditions and parameters. Therefore, the user does not need to enter any mathematical formulas or scripts in the process of building a strategy;

Working Cycle

  1. Load the historical forex rates;
  2. Create your trading strategy by combining technical indicators, adjusting their parameters and using different logics;
  3. Forex Strategy Builder automatically:
    • calculates the indicator values and draws their charts;
    • back tests the strategy using the input historical rates;
    • shows your virtual account balance;
    • keeps a journal of your trading operations, orders and positions;
    • generates a summary of your strategy
  4. Additional features:
    • optimization of the strategy;
    • intrabar data scan using additional forex rates;
    • comparison of the different interpolation methods;
    • possibility to publish your strategy in the users' forum and get further analysis, as well as other users' comments;
